Dear IAMA Members:

The last meeting in Houston, TX was very successful scientifically and I would like to call for abstracts for this coming year, May 24-27, 2019, Chicago, IL.

Our goal at annual meeting of IAMA is to bring together diverse interest of participants to provide meaningful coverage of various disciplines.  During last year’s meeting 3 young investigators were awarded for their excellent research work.

I sincerely would like to ask members and other Iranian clinicians and researchers who would like to be involved in IAMA from different disciplines to take their time and send abstracts from their research so we can make the meeting more balanced towards all disciplines such as cardiology, pulmonology, pediatrics, orthopedics, neurology, immunology, dentistry surgery, PhD, Pharm.D, Podiatry, Chiropractic and of course basic science.

Abstract submission is open from now until January 15, 2019. Abstracts are to be submitted electronically, less than 3000 characters or 300 words.  Authors will be notified of the decision of selected abstracts by the 30th of January 2019.   Please submit your abstract through the link on our website:

                        https://iama.org/meeting-abstract-submission/

The registration fee for presenters who are medical students, residents or fellow will be waived.  Presentations of accepted abstracts are required to be submitted on PowerPoint format one month prior to meeting to avoid any audiovisual difficulties that may occur.  Late submission of your PowerPoint Presentation will cause removal of the abstract from the meeting. All individuals are required to be registered for the meeting in order to present their abstract.

Sincerely,

Ali Nourbakhsh,MD

Chairman, CME Committee
