The Iranian American Medical Association, MA Chapter had an exciting year. We had collaborative work with the Iranian Association of Boston (I.A.B.) in different areas. We specifically used the newsletter that is published by the I.A.B. to increase community awareness of IAMA and its activities. At least one article was published in the different issues that represented IAMA. A blood drive was also coordinated with IAB and The Red Cross which was very successful. Dr. Bahram Ghassemi gave an informative lecture titled “Orthodontics With A Touch Of Persian Poetry” which was very well attended. The medical directory of Iranian Healthcare Providers of Massachusetts is in its final stages of revision before publication. The above directory will provide the local Iranian community with the services that can be rendered to them. Apart from the above regional  activities, Our Board Officers and members at large were directly involved with our colleagues in Iran and were invited to give lectures at the Universities and International congresses that were held in Iran
