Dear members and friends of IAMA and IAMA-Javaan,

Our 2nd Annual Meeting will be held during the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr . holiday weekend in January 2008 from Friday 18th to Monday 21st in Irvine, Orange County, CA.

All the members and friends are encouraged to participate in this unique scientific and social gathering. Please inform all your colleagues and friends about this event and encourage them to join us as well.

The practical information available at this time:

Date

• Friday January 18, 2007: Arrival, registration, meet and greet (Optional but Recommended).
• Saturday January 19th.: Official opening, Conference activities.
• Sunday January 20th.: Conference activities or social activities.
• Monday January 21st.: Departure.

The Atrium Hotel (at Orange County Airport) will be hosting our meeting and for IAAM-Javaan participants, they have offered a reduced rate of $99.00 per night for single or double occupancy. Sharing room is also available. Just inform the Hotel. The address is:

The Conference fee

The final amount would be between $ 100-150 / person. It is not finalized at this moment as we are expecting some sponsorships and donations to be able to reduce the fee/person.

The fee will cover the Food (2 x breakfast + 1 x Annual dinner party), Outdoor activities, speakers, rent of audio-visual devices and DJ. More information will be sent to you by e-mail and will also be posted on the website.

Please make your flight and hotel room reservation as early as possible to get the best rate.

The conference fee (only) should be paid to IAMA-Javaan via Paypal or any major credit card. This option will be available on-line from Monday Nov. 12, 2007.

Due to being able to lower the Conference costs without impacting the quality of our program, the following fees are now in effect, and the previous paid fees in excess will be reimbursed to the payers at the meeting.

• Whole Event (Two days): $119.00 (Conference, x2 breakfast, refreshments, outdoor activity, transportation, Dinner party with DJ Mike Soltani)
• Saturday ONLY: $69.00 (Conference, breakfast, refreshment, transportation)
• Sunday ONLY: $89.00 (Outdoor activity, transportation, Dinner party with DJ Mike Soltani)
