$1,500 Scholarshhip

IAMA-Texas is awarding scholarships in amount of $1500 to qualified Iranian American students in the medical and allied health fields. The applications are scored based on academic achievements as well as involvement of the applicants in community activities, particularly those that pertain to Iranian American community. The deadline for the 2007 application is October 10, 2007.

Eligible Students for the application are:

1. Iranian American students in health care related fields
2. Active enrollment or acceptance in Texas universities

Required Documents

    * Completed IAMA-Texas scholarship form (please email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it for application form)
    * A letter of intention written in English (300 words)
    * Two letters of recommendation
    * Original copy of school transcripts

Students who have received the IAMA-TX scholarship in the last 2 years are not eligible for the application. Only complete applications received by 10/10/2007 will be reviewed by our scholarship committee. Students will be notified as to the status of their application by 10/20/2007.
