Eligible Students for the application are:

1. Iranian-American students in health care related fields
2. Active enrollment or acceptance in Texas universities

Required Documents:

- Completed IAMA-Texas scholarship form (request at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it )
- Personal Statement written in English (limit: 1000 words)
- Two letters of recommendation
- Original copy of school transcripts

Students who have received the IAMA-TX scholarship in the last 2 years are not eligible for the application. 

The applicants will be ranked based on their school transcripts, letters of recommendation, personal statement and community involvement with special emphasis on services provided to the Iranian-American community.

All applications received by 9/10/2009 will be reviewed by our scholarship committee. Students will be notified as to the status of their application by 10/10/2009.
