Hello Dear Friends & Colleagues,  

Last year’s meeting in Houston, Texas was very successful scientifically and I would like to call for abstracts for this coming year, May 2012, in Washington, DC.

Our goal at annual meeting of IAMA is to bring together diverse interest of our members and to provide meaningful coverage of various disciplines. Therefore, it gives me great pleasure to announce that by the encouragement of Dr. Bahram Ghassemi and efforts of Dr. Mahnaz Edalatpour, from the Massachusetts Dental Society, Southborough, MA, from this year on, we are including Continuous Dental Education for our Dentist colleagues in our annual meetings.

In addition to including CDE to this year’s meeting, a decision has been made by IAMA-Javaan Executive Board Members to hold their scientific meeting with IAMA.  We welcome this gesture and encourage all the members of IAMA-Javaan to send their abstracts for this annual meeting of IAMA. 

Based on the evaluation and comments of the participants, it seems that there have been unequal presentations in the field of surgery compared to other disciplines.  I sincerely would like to ask our members to take their time and send abstracts from their basic science and clinical research so we can make the meeting more balanced towards other disciplines such as cardiology, pulmonology, pediatric, orthopedic, neurology, immunology, dentistry etc.
